World Language & Cultural Ambassadors Program
Chi-Chack Community Language Center, the South Sound’s premier foreign language school, is taking over the World Language and Cultural Ambassador program (formerly with A.C.E.). Foreign language classes, curriculum, locations and instructors will continue to operate as before in all South Sound locations. We are very excited to welcome Marita Paly, Yorleny Clapper and Elke Armajo to our staff. We can’t wait to welcome all the teachers and students to the Chi-Chack family in the fall.
We are currently in the process of updating our website to fully integrate the WLCA program with our own foreign language classes to better serve our families and clients with a seamless transition. Thank you for your support and patience as we undergo this exciting transition!
About Chi-Chack Community Language Center
Chi-Chack Community Language Center is a non-profit foreign language school based in Tacoma, Washington. We work to provide the South Sound with increased access to foreign language and cultural education. Foreign language and cultural education is proven to provide clear benefits to both youth and adults. Those benefits foster improved communication between people of different linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
We run a robust series of language classes offered before and after school throughout the South Sound region. Classes focus on the conversational usage of the subject language. Students are taught to communicate in the subject language through a mix of approaches and by using mostly the instructed language in class.
